Herriman High School Joins the Ranks having Graduation Ceremony at UVU
I'm a Herriman High parent and yes, year after year, getting extra graduation tickets are tough. But there is a sense of community when the entire Senior Class is graduating on their football field. Let alone having a Senior graduation parade in the morning so anyone who can't get into the ceremony can celebrate the graduating class.
Well as of this year, the Class of 2025, that's all going to change. I can tell you that my own son, who is a rising Junior is not happy about this change. He was already planning his float for his Senior parade for the class of 2026.
According the to the school, Graduation will also be held at Utah Valley University. Time to be determined and seating will be on a first come - first serve basic. Due to extenuating circumstances, and "discussions" it has become necessary to disband the parade. BOOOOO!!!!
This is what makes Herriman High School a community. We stand out. Yes, all the other Jordan School High Schools do it at UVU or the Maverik Center. Yet it feels so big and so uninviting.
