Utah’s real estate market saw an 8.8% increase in sales in April 2024 compared to April 2023 as new listings increased 22.6% and the inventory of active real estate listings rose 6.8%.
Even with the rise in listings, demand continues to outpace supply. At the end of April, there were 3 months of inventory, which is a seller’s market. As a result of the demand and low supply, the median sales price increased 4.2% from last April, reaching $500,000.
